The Kirthwood is Freenote Cloth doing what they do best. Taking old American workwear, cleaning up the proportions and obsessing over the hardware.

This version is cut from a 13 oz yarn-dyed Japanese herringbone cotton in a warm rust brown. Look closely and the weave does most of the work.

The shape sits somewhere between a traditional work jacket and an old garage jacket. A full metal zip closes the front, while two large curved patch pockets handle the useful stuff. A zipped welt pocket sits at the chest. Around the back, an action-back construction gives you some extra room to move, and adjustable side cinches with Japanese metal buckles let you tighten the waist if you want a cleaner fit.

The fabric has been rinsed, so it already feels good from day one and will only get better with wear.

Then there are the details Freenote refuses to leave alone. 1/8" double-needle stitching, custom YKK metal hardware, corozo buttons at the cuffs and custom labels made in the USA.
