After years of dinners at home with friends, we decided it was not enough to share our passion for food only to few close friends and we found it would have been much more funny and challenging to open our kitchen to anyone could be interested in trying new and different social experience from the usual “go out for dinner”. Sharing the same table, talking to new people, tasting homemade food: this is the funny part of it!
Based on experiences outside the Italian borders, we took the decision to come out into the world of “hidden eateries”. Our aim is to use our large living room and kitchen to offer our favourite dishes to people who aren’t shy to try something different with different people and at the same time wants to feel at home.
“Gatherings” is the outdoor spinoff of Ma' Hidden Kitchen and It's much more than a common table. It is the celebration of food, nature and places. A place where tastes, consistency and scents combine together to create a unique shared experience of its kind. Each event takes place in a secret location that is communicated to guests a week before the event. The event lasts for several hours, with about 20 minutes between one course and the other. Each dish is designed to be enjoyed together with the view, the wine and the conversation. Every aspect of the event is thought carefully according to these premises.
Since 2010 we have been organizing our “American Road Trips” and in these years we have visited all the States (except Hawaii and Alaska).
We love the USofA, the huge open spaces, the boundless plains, the mountains, the deserts, the nature and the desolation of some areas and for this reason we always travel on secondary roads not to lose even one centimeter of the beauty of this Country.
We just felt the need to share with everybody all the pictures shot during our trips and we are available upon request to build itineraries in the United States according to your needs.
