Inspired by the US Army M-43 trousers, also known as the "Monkey Cargo Pants," the Wilmot combines the distinctive features of American military trousers with the wide waistband construction of British Royal Navy overtrousers.

One of the most recognisable features of the original M-43 cargo pants is the large hip pockets. These have been reinterpreted with a practical double-pocket construction, allowing access from both the top and the side for improved functionality.

The trousers feature laurel wreath-embossed Neova buttons and adjustable side buckles at the waist.

The fabric is a heavyweight cotton moleskin made from American-grown cotton. Its surface undergoes an intensive singeing process to remove excess fibres and minimise unwanted fuzziness, resulting in a dense, smooth yet rugged fabric with a distinctive character.
