Crafted from 10.5-ounce selvedge denim straight out of Collect Mills in Japan, the Calico shirt by Freenote is a rugged nod to the old West, stripped down and sharpened up.

Freenote took the traditional sawtooth western—a classic—and carved it into something sleeker. They started with the sawtooth western design and modified it, reducing the pocket flap design to one tooth or a single curved point. The front yoke curves too, mirroring the pockets, tying the whole thing together in a way that feels timeless but modern.

Every detail is dialed in: tight 1/8” double-needle stitching, selvedge accents on the gussets, and diamond snaps imported from Japan that click like a six-shooter. They didn’t stop there—custom bone buttons with a southwestern edge and a made-in-USA label give it even more soul.

Pre-shrunk, rinsed, ready to wear, and built from 100% cotton. Sewn in the USA like the old days, but meant for the here and now. The Calico doesn’t just fit—it lives with you.
