Model 1938 Motorized Troops Motorcycle Coat – French Army, DLM (Light Mechanized Division). This coat, made from heavy indigo HBT Sashiko cotton canvas woven by KUROKI in Japan, is inspired by the 1938 pattern designed specifically for French Army motorcyclists.
The design follows the principles of a “canadienne,” similar to a three-quarter peacoat. The canvas is woven extremely densely, giving it excellent resistance to wind penetration.
