Carlo Badalassi® is known for mastering the art of vegetable tanning and producing the legendary Vacchetta leather. This cowhide is top tier full grain leather, vegetable tanned with an aniline finish.

At around 1.2 mm thick, the Varenne has a solid, heavyweight feel that speaks to its premium quality. Natural leather like Badalassi Vacchetta has its own character. Slight variations in grain, texture, small scratches, or tone are part of what makes each jacket authentic and unique.
