A classic Western shirt with a strong 1950s rodeo influence, cut in a vintage relaxed fit and made in Italy from 100% cotton indigo denim with a dry, textured surface. The fabric shows visible nep and subtle irregularity throughout the weave, giving the shirt the character of older workwear denim rather than the flat appearance of modern uniform cloth.
The silhouette is traditional and easy through the chest and body, with enough room to wear comfortably on its own or over a lightweight T-shirt or Henley. The body finishes with a long, curved shirttail hem, keeping the proportions faithful to vintage Western shirts.
A sharply pointed Western collar establishes the shape at the top. The front closes with a full row of pearl snap buttons, each set within a narrow metal rim. The same hardware is repeated across the pockets and cuffs, creating a consistent period-correct finish.
Across the upper chest are shaped Western front yokes, defined by angular seam lines that frame the shoulders and lead naturally into the chest pockets. Two generously sized chest pockets sit below the yokes, each finished with a pointed Western flap and pearl snap closure. The pockets are integrated cleanly into the shirt rather than appearing as simple patch additions, giving the front a more structured architectural look.
The defining detail is the pair of embroidered rodeo scenes positioned across the upper chest. Each side depicts a cowboy riding a bucking horse, worked directly into the denim in a restrained palette of tobacco brown, rust red, mustard yellow, cream, white, black and small touches of green. Fine stitched lines form the horse, rider, reins and saddle details, while small embroidered tufts of grass and scattered stones complete the scene underneath. The two motifs mirror one another across the chest, giving the shirt a balanced appearance without making the embroidery feel overly decorative.
The embroidery itself has an intentionally traditional character. Rather than looking digitally perfect or overly dense, the stitching retains the slightly irregular, illustrated quality associated with vintage souvenir and rodeo shirts.
The long sleeves taper gradually toward substantial cuffs. Each cuff is finished with three vertically arranged pearl snaps, while an additional snap closes the sleeve placket above the cuff. This four-snap arrangement adds another authentic Western detail and allows the sleeve opening to sit neatly around the wrist.
Throughout the shirt, tonal dark stitching keeps the construction understated and allows the denim texture, pearl snaps and embroidery to remain the focus.
