High-rise jeans inspired by 1940s workwear, handcrafted in Italy using traditional single-needle construction.
Made from 13 oz Japanese raw selvedge denim, each pair is individually produced rather than mass-manufactured. The jeans are sewn on a vintage 1940s single-needle machine, following construction methods used on some of the earliest denim trousers.
The result is a wide-fitting, historically inspired jean with subtle variations from pair to pair. No two are exactly alike.
Early denim trousers were often designed to be worn with suspenders, attached directly to buttons at the waistband. The P35 JP14 keeps this original detail, together with a buckle-back adjuster and belt loops, allowing the jeans to be worn in different ways.
