The Belford fit is cut with a higher rise, more room through the top block, and a straight leg. The thigh is generous without looking oversized. It sits comfortably higher on the waist and gives you room to move.
This version is made from a limited 14 oz indigo denim developed for Freenote by Japan’s Kaihara Mills. The fabric was created to reproduce the character of a 1950s denim from a long-closed American mill. A rinsed finish brings out the deeper indigo tones and softens the denim, so it feels comfortable from the first wear.
Finished with a button fly, two-piece waistband, reinforced pockets, custom rivets and button tacks, and a leather patch from SB Tanning Co. The pocket bags are made from vintage Japanese herringbone stripe fabric.
Wear it cuffed with sneakers or with engineer boots. Both work.
Sewn in the USA.
