THE INSPIRATION
This heirloom-quality coat follows the silhouette of Ginew’s Wax Canvas Rider Coat and reflects the spirit of co-founder Amanda Bruegl’s grandfather along with the early Harley-Davidson® motorcycle club jackets he once wore. In the 1950s and 1960s, he rode weekly from the Mohican Indian Reservation to weld for Harley-Davidson. This coat pays tribute to him and the values he embodied: resilience, bravery, honesty, dedication, and toughness. When you put it on, you carry forward a legacy.
CONSTRUCTION
The Legends Coat is crafted from durable waxed canvas and lined with Pendleton® Walking Rock wool-cotton blend for warmth and bold character. Inside, quilted satin sleeves add insulation against the chill. Custom Ginew hardware, including our Genesis leaf, makes every detail purposeful. The design features a modern fit with two chest pockets, two side pockets, and heirloom-level finishing. Each piece is proudly sourced and constructed in the USA.
REIMAGINED DETAILS
The design combines elements from classic Wisconsin moto-club jackets with refinements for today. The sides are slimmer, the back is longer, and the sleeves are extended for comfort and mobility. The waxed canvas is produced by the same family that has supplied the U.S. military for seven generations. Created in small batches, this coat is made to last for years until it becomes your legend.
