Workwear-inspired trousers based on a 1910s silhouette, updated with signature details like a shaped fly and set-in belt loops—hallmarks of Orgueil’s tailoring.
The fabric is a shuttle-loom-woven stripe using cheese-dyed indigo and sulfur-dyed yarns, designed to fade beautifully with wear. 100% cotton. Made in Japan
Cheese indigo dyeing is a type of indigo dyeing that involves wrapping the thread in a cheese shape and then dyeing it, hence the name. Like hank dyeing, it dyes all the way to the core of the thread so it fades more slowly than denim.
