The Calico is Freenote Cloth’s take on the western shirt, cleaned up and made a little sharper.
It starts from the classic sawtooth western design, then pares things back. The pocket flaps have been reduced to a single curved point, matched by the curved front yoke for a balanced, unmistakably western shape.
The fabric is a custom 3 oz cotton and silk poplin stripe from Japan. Light, smooth, and quietly special. Pearl barrel snaps from Japan, a custom bone button with Freenote’s southwestern logo, and precise 1/8” double needle stitching finish the job properly.
Rinsed, pre-shrunk, and sewn in the USA.
