Walking along the paths in the Calvana mountains in Tuscany during winter, you can come across teams of hunters, livestock breeders (an endangered breed of cows called Calvanina is bred on these mountains), or mushroom hunters, all of them wearing indestructible wool jackets.

The “Calvana” Jacket is a way of paying homage to these wonderful mountains of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
